Hello everyone!
Sorry for the long hiatus. I have a few announcements to make. First, since I last posted, I earned my Masters in Education Policy and Management from the Harvard Graduate School of Education! The HGSE experience was life-changing and an incredible time of learning and growth for me, even though it had to be completed online in the midst of the ongoing pandemic. In my time at HGSE, I was President of the Black Student Union. One ongoing program that started during that period was a series of discussions on Black Love, which were suggested to me by my good friend, and intellectual contribution award winner, Ella Weschler-Matthaei. We initially had four discussions planned, but since the pandemic prevented us from having these in person, we decided to continue the series online; there’s going to be a new tab dedicated to these discussions on the site, and they will be uploaded to the YouTube Channel.
We are in the midst of multiple crises which are all coming to a head at the same time, and I want to encourage you all not only to do all you can for your neighbors and community, but also to take care of yourself during these times. This is incredibly challenging for all of us, and we all need time away for our own well being.
