More About Kira:

Kira Tiller is a high school senior with Epilepsy. She is a youth Disability Activist who is

passionate about fighting ableism in education through coalition-building and working for more

equitable policies. Through networking within existing youth organizations, Kira has worked hard to put Disability Justice at the forefront, such founding the Disabled Persons Caucus of the High School Democrats of America (HSDA). Additionally, she founded and leads Disabled Disrupters, a student- powered movement with a multi-tiered strategy to achieve universal accessibility. This strategy includes educating our communities, lobbying legislators, and holding local events. In the future, Kira hopes to work in government public policy to advance full equity for the disabled and neuro-divergent community, as well as writing a book.
